I am interested in obtaining an insect collection to housed in the Baronial Library, unfortunately opening day is 12 November 2007, so I'd need to have the collection 'air freight' or 'next day' delivery.

The Collection would need to include specimens from the following Orders:

# Odonata -- dragonflies, damselflies
# Orthoptera -- grasshoppers, katydids, crickets
# Isoptera -- Termites
# Dermaptera -- Earwigs
# Hemiptera -- True Bugs
# Homoptera -- Cicadas, Aphids, Scales
# Neuroptera -- Lacewings, Antlions
# Coleoptera -- Beetles
# Lepidoptera -- Butterflies, Moths,
# Diptera -- Flies
# Siphonaptera -- Fleas
# Hymenoptera -- Ants, Wasps, Bees

Cost is a factor, but should not be considered the only factor in the bid.

One of my granddaughters has a very extensive "Bug Collection",
which is one of Her many 4H Projects; however, I know that she
will not part with any part of it. Laughing

If I had more time, and the season was still active, I would collect
a few of these "micro-animals"; as a good majority of the ones you
have listed....are "enemies-of-the-state" here in the Imperium's
farm fields. Laughing

I am hoping that some one here (or known to a person here) is willing to part with their collection.

The one I had prepared became the victim of a poorly chosen storage location..... Sad

'Reschedule' isn't really an option, I've made commitments.

E-bay did have anything like it when last I visited - the the 'school supply houses' don't have a 'ready display' nor can they make the turn-around times I need.
