Actually not that expensive.
A small-scale oil mill that can produce up to 3 tons of straight coconut oil, costs under $7000 (US) [with transport costs]. Of course additional machineries are needed for the production of biodiesel...
I'm currently talking with the company on this matter...
Speaking of land; we wouldn't need to actually poduce all the coconuts ourselves but could buy copra from local farmers...
Anyhow; Liberta will be following this through

$7,000.00 is like 45 DWF Pounds, (or approximately 45 times the direct cash budget for the entire government!)

But $7000.00 is relatively inexpensive compared to the global market prices of such machineries that can go up to $40,000.00
Of course it will take some time to save the money for this but if we were on a hurry, we'd already have more than half of the money right now...
Due to security reasons though, I'd rather wait and save some more.

The Dominion of British West Florida maybe rather insular and old-fashioned in some things. The House of Lords judges financial viability based on the available funds, not the 'global average cost'. A product that costs 45 times the anticipated annual income is too expensive. We are barred from accruing debt by our Constitution, so we couldn't borrow the money even if we expected the investment to be profitable.
(All direct web sales go to Katrina Relief Agencies, so our funding is based on the contributions of the various Lords and their fiefs).

I would have done that when my nation had territory, the citizens of territory that is part of Rome, would get free public spoils. Such as free food and water, sometimes free land to build farms an such.
Which if my movement succeeds in the pacific Islands then there will be plenty of spoils to give out.
After of course we establish law an order.
Then once we have our citizens secured and have a stable economy that is not in debit, then we shall donate food, water, and much more to foreign peoples in need and perhaps give them a free house an citizenship in Rome to have a better more extravagant life than they have in there poor countries.
Rome is all about the people, for the people, giving to the people. But by the Roman Brotherhood, it shall make that task much easier considering.

| Heh. I could dish out US$7,000 on a whim from my own pocket, but I would rather keep it so that I can help my citizens move to a more centralized location (which has already been selected). |

Greetings !!
The original purpose for this board was to actually see
if we / who.....*would* do something; not what anyone
*could* do....if we / he / she wanted. 
As it now stands...........it appears that each individual
micronationalist and micronation will continue to support
and sponser his or her preferred charity; which is where
we were............prior to the establishment of a possible
*unified* micro-charity.
Such an micro-charity *umbrella* will one day exist, of that
I am quite confident; however, as it appears at the present
time, each micronation must dedicate itself to the prime
priority of getting it's own house established....and kept in order.
As the old saying(s) goes:
"Money Talks...and 8U!!$Hi+ Walks" 
[ i.e. "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is"......]
[ i.e. "Action Speaks Louder Than Words"....etc...]
Not meant as any means of "putting-down" a very noble
cause / idea [ which this concept is / was ]; merely stating
the truth....reality as it currently stands.
One day...this concept will become reality....but not today;
which is why this board and all of the threads / replies have
been left for public viewing and debate and discussion......
which is all that we currently have......but deperately need....
if such a worthy cause is to ever be established.
